In Toulon, culture doesn’t take a vacation. During the summer of 2026, it even leaves traditional venues behind to take over squares, streets, gardens, and the waterfront. Exhibitions, free concerts, popular events, and artistic gatherings make up a particularly rich program designed for residents and visiting tourists alike. Among the season’s major highlights is the exhibition "Man Ray. Magic of the Image", presented at the Toulon Art Museum (Musée d’Art de Toulon) from July 4 through October 31, 2026. Nearly two hundred works allow visitors to rediscover one of the freer and most uncategorizable creators of the 20th century. Photographs, paintings, drawings, objects, films, books, and his famous rayographs retrace an artistic journey that never accepted boundaries between disciplines.
